Each year Clements Kindness awards families in need grants for non medical needs such as tires for their car, mortgage payment, travel expenses to a cancer clinic in another city, funeral expenses. In some cases, the patient may have a special request such as a new violin, or pet. Through our social worker Pam Broughton, who knows the families well and screens the requests, we fund the needs that arise during this stressful time.
